The sound is not working on my iPad

This is typically due to the device being muted. You can check this with the follow steps:

  1. Turn up the volume using the switches on the side.
  2. If the side switch is used for mute, make sure its not switched on.
  3. If the side switch is used for rotation lock, open Control Centre by swiping up on the home screen. Make sure the Bell symbol does not have a line through it.
